Following a winter storm, a large ash showing signs of dieback had split at a major fork, leaving it unstable and overhanging a neighbouring driveway.
The Approach
With no safe felling zone, the tree was dismantled in sections using rigging to lower each limb under control. The stump was then ground out below ground level to allow the area to be re-turfed.
The work was completed in a single day with minimal disruption to the property and full clearance of all timber and debris.
